Holidays to Spain encompass so much more than simply staying in a hotel, requesting room service on occasion and soaking up the quiet sights. Spain is known for it's gorgeous and sunny Atlantic Coast, and the stunning Pyrenees mountains. Spain packs in everything that a holiday maker could ever want, including nightlife, beaches, mountains, beautiful art, rich culture, energetic music, traditional culinary delights and a people which may easily be one of the friendliest groups on earth. Spain is located as part of the Euro zone, which is a group of countries which all use the Euro as their predominant form of currency, so if planning a holiday from a country that uses another form of currency, you may want to make sure to exchange your cash, or to bring other more widely accepted forms of payment, like credit cards.

There are many different types of hotels which you can stay in during your holidays to Spain, including super modern hotels, or family-oriented resorts that offer amenities and activities for children. The best place to stay in Madrid is near the rail station, which is the best way to situate yourself close to all of the attractions and activities are. On the other hand, if you are staying in Madrid then the best place to stay is in Ciutat Vella which will provide the most excitement and convenience.

There is entirely too much to do and see in Spain, and no way that you will be able to take everything in during a single holiday. You can get around Spain fairly easily, taking in all of the essentials from Madrid, Seville or Barcelonaa in just a few days, but without a month or two, it will be difficult to take in all of the major cities, smaller independent towns, mountains, coasts and beaches, and everything in between.
